As he put it, every player has that click — and for him, it was just around the corner:

“When I scored two against Everton in January 2022, it felt like everything clicked for me.

He really struggled at first when he played for Boca… One day, the last thing he could think of was to change his studs to the longest he could find.”

Life at Liverpool hasn’t been without challenges for Alexis Mac Allister:

“I don’t want to go into details, but I was going through some very personal difficulties last season.

He let me get everything off my chest, and after that, I felt like I could breathe a bit easier.”

“And my teammates, they were incredible.

He’s almost 60, and there’s no one funnier than him.”

He explained, the bond with Liverpool began even before he arrived:

“From that moment I spoke to Jürgen Klopp, I knew I was meant to come to Liverpool.

It was a great conversation, and that was the beginning of a spectacular relationship.”
