Liverpool fans are being warned that a number of stations on the Merseyrail network will be closed on the day of the Reds' hugely anticipated Premier League parade through the city.
Merseyrail is urging passengers to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys as the network prepares for a hugely busy May Bank Holiday weekend, with a number of large-scale events taking place across the region - including the hugely anticipated Liverpool FC Premier League victory parade.
A special timetable will be in operation on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 May, with some stations temporarily closed to help everyone travel safely.
As well as the parade on the Monday, the city will play host to BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend at Sefton Park across the weekend.
Customers are being encouraged to buy tickets in advance from any staffed Merseyrail station to avoid ticket queues on the day.
Merseyrail has now revealed the key changes that will be made to its network ahead of the huge weekend in the city.
Key travel changes

Sunday 25 May
Station Closures:
• In Liverpool City Centre, James Street and Lime Street low level stations will be closed all day.
• On the Northern line, Bank Hall, Walton, and Cressington stations will be closed all day.
• On the Wirral line Capenhurst, Bromborough Rake, and Green Lane stations will be closed all day.
Service Changes:
• On the Southport line, services will run every 15-minutes from approximately 10am - 8pm and every 30 minutes at all other times.
Some trains will be retimed.
• On the Ormskirk & Hunts Cross lines, services will run every 30-minutes, with extra trains from midday and 4pm and 6.30pm and 9pm
• A normal 30-minute service will operate on all other lines.
Monday 26 May
On Bank Holiday Monday, trains will run every 15-minutes during the day and every 30-minutes from approximately 7.30pm in the evening.
The only exception is the Southport line, where trains will run every 15-minutes from start to end of service.
Station Closures:
• In Liverpool City Centre, James Street and Lime Street low level stations will be closed all day.
• On the Northern line, Bank Hall, Walton, and Cressington stations will be closed all day.
• On the Wirral line, Capenhurst, Bromborough Rake, and Green Lane stations will be closed all day.
Service Changes:
• If travelling on the Northern line, customers will need to use Moorfields station to board or alight services in Liverpool City Centre.
• If travelling on the Wirral line, customers will need to use Liverpool Central station to board or alight services in Liverpool City Centre.
