Having splashed the cash in the first month of the summer transfer window, Liverpool could see a number of high profile players leave in July.
The Reds raced out of the blocks in June, spending almost £200m on Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
But while another addition or two can perhaps be expected at Anfield, the focus is now likely to shift towards clearing some space within the Liverpool squad.
As Rousing The Kop exclusively revealed on Saturday, Darwin Nunez has informed Liverpool he wants to join Napoli, with talks ongoing to bridge the gap in valuation between the two clubs.
In the meantime, Nunez’s South American colleague Luis Diaz has also been heavily linked with an exit this summer.
Reports from Colombia have claimed that Diaz is ‘upset’ with Liverpool following their decision not to continue in talks over a contract extension.
And as the forward’s mood darkens, he is reportedly set to be the subject of an enormous bid from Saudi Arabia.

Since the end of the season, Liverpool have maintained a stance that although they will not discuss a new contract with Diaz, he is not up for sale either.
However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, that position is set to be tested in the coming weeks by a massive offer from Saudi Arabia.

It has been clear for some weeks that Diaz is Al Nassr’s top target this summer and taking to X on Saturday evening, Jacobs confirmed that an offer of around £73m is likely to be on its way to Anfield.
“Luis Diaz remains Al-Nassr’s top left-wing target, even after Liverpool told Barcelona he is not for sale,” says the reporter.

“Nassr prepared to offer in excess of €85m [£73m}.
Diaz was open to Barcelona, but still unclear if he’ll consider Saudi.”
Jacobs goes on to say Al Nassr do have other players on the shortlist, including Kaoru Mitoma, Gabriel Martinelli, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho, however Diaz remains the top choice.
Should Liverpool receive a bid of more than £70m for Diaz, it seems likely that they will accept it.
From there, the final decision will be down to the player himself.
While Diaz has been an excellent signing for Liverpool, he cost the Reds an initial £37m three-and-a-half years ago.
To have gotten the best out of the Colombian, who was pivotal in last season’s Premier League title win, and then virtually double their money on him, Liverpool could hardly ask for much more than that.
Of course, Diaz’s eventual fee was probably closer to £50m, with add-ons likely to have been met.
But it would still be an exceptional deal nonetheless.
There would be sadness at seeing Diaz leave after an exciting spell at Anfield, but Liverpool will perhaps feel they can put the money to good use and complete the rebuild of their forward line.
