Jack Grealish’s latest message to Everton fans has sparked a wave of reaction from Premier League stars, including both former and current teammates.

The winger’s exit from Manchester City had been on the cards for months, following a season of limited opportunities, ongoing speculation, and his omission from Pep Guardiola’s Club World Cup squad earlier this summer.

Back in May, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Grealish had privately told friends he did not expect to remain at Man City beyond the summer, believing he had been “frozen out” by the manager.

He started just seven Premier League matches last season, with the likes of Jeremy Doku and Savinho stepping into the spotlight in his place.

Now, his departure from the Etihad has been confirmed, with Grealish joining Everton on a loan deal.

His latest message to supporters has since drawn significant attention and reaction across the football world.

Grealish posted on Instagram following the confirmation of his move to Everton for the rest of the season, saying: “Ready and excited for a new challenge on Merseyside!

Let’s make it special!”

The post quickly drew responses from his current and former teammates, with Erling Haaland and Ederson both liking it, along with Everton pair Jordan Pickford and Idrissa Gueye.

Other Premier League names also showed their appreciation, including Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Tottenham’s James Maddison, and former England star Wayne Rooney, who all liked the post.

Football Insider revealed in June that Grealish favoured a move to Everton over other interested clubs, including Newcastle and Tottenham, and he will now have the opportunity to prove himself in new surroundings.

Since making his £100million switch to Manchester City, the winger has faced scrutiny over his performances.

After scoring just once in the league last season, he will now take his talents to Merseyside in search of a fresh start.

Following the signing of Grealish, questions have been raised over whether Everton will continue their pursuit of Tyler Dibling.

Football Insider have now revealed that Everton could still push for Dibling despite Grealish’s arrival, with bolstering their attacking options remaining a priority.

The Toffees have already had two bids rejected, with the Saints holding out for around £50m, and it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside club will return with a third offer.
