Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has paid tribute to Diogo Jota, saying his Portugal international colleague will always have a special place in his heart.
Silva was one of the many stars from across football who was present at Jota's funeral service on Saturday, which was held in conjunction with his brother Andre Silva, after both were involved in a fatal accident on Thursday.
The tragedy occurred shortly after midnight in northern Spain, with reports claiming a burst tyre was the cause of the accident when attempting to overtake.

Silva grew close with Jota during their time with the Seleccao national team and speaking after Saturday's service, the former AS Monaco midfielder attempted to summarise how he will remember his compatriot and friend.
"I can’t even imagine the pain of the family, of (wife) Rute, of the children, of the parents," Silva said.
"For Andre and for Jota.
I must say a little about Jota, who was a great friend of all of us.

"His career, although not the most important, speaks for itself.
He will always be present at every breakfast, lunch, dinner, national team get-together, PlayStation or card game.”
A large contingent of Liverpool representatives were at Saturday's service, including captain Virgil van Dijk, head coach Arne Slot and Fenway Sports Group's CEO of football, Michael Edwards, who was present with sporting director Richard Hughes.
