Man City managed to hold on to Savinho during the summer as Tottenham increase their efforts for the winger.
Towards the latter stages of the summer transfer window, sources told Football Insider that Man City remained firm on not selling Savinho to Tottenham.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Cityzens are unwilling to let go of their tricky winger.

“Look, as you mentioned there, he just made his first start of the season in that Carabao Cup win against Huddersfield [24 September] and he scored in that game as well.
“But look, Man City were very fast in their desire to keep hold of Savinho in the summer.

The Ghanian has already racked up three assists in five Premier League matches and is currently outshining Savinho based on form.
Dejan Kulusevski is also expected to return before the turn of the year, which will give Frank a superb set of right-wingers to utilise.
The ex-Brentford boss will be happy with his current selection especially if City drastically raise their asking price for Savinho to an eye-watering amount.
