Chelsea star Cole Palmer shared a message with the supporters to provide an update after his latest injury.

Chelsea have made a strong start to the season, collecting seven points from their opening matches to sit second in the Premier League table.

Enzo Maresca has overseen a number of changes this summer as Chelsea have signed Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho, among others.

While the team have adapted well to the new arrivals, Palmer’s start to the campaign has been more frustrating.

Palmer was injured in the warm-up against West Ham in the side’s 5-1 win, and missed the West London derby against Fulham.

Now, Palmer has offered an update to fans with a personal message, which quickly drew reactions from across the Premier League.

Now, the Englishman shared a message to supporters, in a hint that he is returning sooner rather than later, as he captioned his latest Instagram post with: “Soon back.”

Many Premier League stars shared a reaction to the post with Man United’s Bruno Fernandes, Phil Foden and Tottenham’s James Maddison all liking the message.

His Chelsea teammates also responded, with Pedro leaving a heart emoji, while Tosin Adarabioyo added a light-hearted comment: “Say swear.”

Palmer had a poor start to the season but remains crucial for Maresca’s side.

It will be a boost to the coach that the Englishman is ready to make a return to the squad.

He had a fantastic season last term with 32 goals and assists in all competitions, whilst lifting both the Conference League and Club World Cup.

While Palmer has been injured, one teammate that he will no longer line up with is Nicolas Jackson, after he moved to Bayern Munich.

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness said that Chelsea received £40 million more for Jackson from Bayern after they attempted to block the deal.

The Senegalese forward has joined Bayern on an initial loan deal which includes an obligation to buy, with the whole package worth around £70m, but Wyness believes that the price tag is almost doubled to what the forward might otherwise have commanded on the market.
