One Manchester United player has to prove himself at the club after a shock admission from an Old Trafford legend.
Ruben Amorim was active in the market as Man United aimed to bolster their strike force after scoring just 44 Premier League goals last season.
Amorim faces the sack at Man United following a poor beginning to the season which has yet to deliver any change in performances.
Man City beat Man United 3-0 in the derby to assert their continued dominance between the club’s in-front of the onlooking Jim Ratcliffe.

Senne Lammens joined Man United from Royal Antwerp as Andre Onana left the club on loan to join Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The 23-year-old was on the bench for the Manchester derby as Ruben Amorim continued with Altay Bayindir in-between the sticks.
Legendary Man United shot stopper Peter Schmeichel has admitted he had never heard of Lammens before his move to the club, as per The Daily Mail [18 September].

“As for Lammens, I’ll be honest, I’d never heard of him until the link came up,” Schmeichel claimed.
“I know his stats are excellent across the top ten European leagues.
But that was with Antwerp in Belgium, in a team that finished fifth.
“Stats don’t show how you react after a mistake, or how you cope with the pressure of Manchester United.
That pressure is unlike anywhere else in football.”
Schmeichel called Lammens a “risk” stating that the club should have signed a goalkeeper like Aston Villa number one Emi Martinez or Gianluigi Donnarumma who subsequently joined Man City.
Lammens has arrived in the Premier League with little reputation having spent his career until now in his native Belgium.
He will have to prove to the likes of Schmeichel that Man United were right to sign him and that as a young goalkeeper he could be number one for many years to come.

However, in the short term Amorim needs results, and the manager was not willing to start Lammens in the derby ahead of Bayindir, who has proven he is not the answer to Man United’s goalkeeping issues.
Martinez or Donnarumma would have had an immediate effect in-between the sticks, and it remains to be seen when Lammens will make his club debut.
