Man United may see another notable departure in the next window following reports about a player’s uncertain future under Ruben Amorim.

Man United have seen numerous changes to the squad in the summer window, with the club hierarchy backing Amorim over arrivals and departures.

Several players were part of the “bomb squad” at Old Trafford who all left the side, with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho completing a move to Chelsea, Marcus Rashford joining Barcelona on loan, and Jadon Sancho moving to Aston Villa until the end of the season.

However, despite the backing from the board, the club have started the season in poor form and Amorim remains under sack pressure.

Now, a player who stayed at the club during the summer may be looking to leave with his contract running down.

According to the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Al-Nassr are targeting Casemiro in the January window, and the midfielder is “tempted” by a potential lucrative offer.

They added that the Saudi club wants to “reunite him” with Cristiano Ronaldo, his previous teammate at Real Madrid, where the two saw plenty of success.

Casemiro could leave Man United.

After previous links with a move away during both the summer and winter windows, Casemiro had publicly stated he wants to stay at Man United.

Football Insider had revealed Man United are open to selling Casemiro due to his high wages, but the manager made a U-turn on his role in the side and unexpectedly trusted him in key fixtures during the final stretch of last season.

The 33-year-old has also started three times for Amorim this term alongside Bruno Fernandes in the midfield.

Despite his appearances, his deal expires next summer, with no active talks over a new deal, opening the door for an exit.

Another player who’s contract is up in 2026 and has been linked with a move away is Harry Maguire.

Man United’s former chief scout told Football Insider that Maguire could leave Old Trafford, with the club yet to offer him a new deal.

Like Casemiro, he could be tempted by the Saudi Pro League, as Maguire has been linked with a move away in recent weeks, and potentially join his teammate in the Middle East.
