A 53-year-old man has been charged with seven serious offences after dozens of people were injured by a car at Liverpool's Premier League title parade on Monday.
Paul Desmond Sanders Doyle, from the West Derby area of Liverpool, is charged with:
Two counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harmTwo counts of causing unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harmTwo counts of attempted unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harmOne count of dangerous driving
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday May 30.
There were a total of 79 confirmed casualties following the incident on Water Street in the city centre on Monday.
