It’s set to be a significant summer for Liverpool as they look to build on their Premier League title-winning team.
The Reds have stormed to victory this season under Arne Slot, but there are still areas of the squad that can be improved if they’re to retain their title next term.
That’s likely to involve the sale of some big names, with striker Darwin Nunez among those linked with a move away ahead of the transfer window.
ECHO Sport 's Ian Doyle understands that the Saudi Pro League enquired about the availability of the Uruguayan back in the January transfer window, but there was little desire from Liverpool to break up the squad midway through a title charge.
That could be a different story in the summer, however, with the Reds expected to be open to offers.

Al-Hilal are believed to be interested in Nunez and could make a strong push to sign the striker as soon as the window opens on June 1.
The urgency stems from the Saudi club’s desire to bring in new faces before the FIFA Club World Cup kicks off later that month.
Nunez isn’t the only Premier League star to be linked with Al-Hilal, but the stance of Liverpool’s rivals could open the door for the Reds to cash in this summer.

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes had also been named as a target, but Ruben Amorim made it clear in his press conference this week that the Portuguese international is not for sale and will remain a United player for many years to come.
