Man City defender Manuel Akanji shared a response on social media after transfer speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham in recent days.
It has been a summer of significant change at the Etihad, with Pep Guardiola overseeing a major rebuild.
High-profile departures have already seen Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish leaving Man City, and Akanji could be the next name heading for the exit.
Tottenham have made a surprise approach for Akanji while AC Milan are also believed to be in the race for his signature.
The Swiss international has not featured in City’s first two games of the new season, further fuelling speculation over his future.
With exit talks building, the defender decided to share a message on social media.
Despite not featuring for City so far this season, Akanji remains part of first-team training as Guardiola’s side prepare to face Brighton on 31 August.
The defender reshared a training photo originally posted by Matheus Nunes, where his side appeared to come out on top in a drill.
Akanji added his own caption on Instagram, writing: “No coincidence.”
Since arriving at the Etihad, the Swiss international has been regarded as a reliable option under Guardiola.
However, with just two years left on his current deal, speculation continues to grow over his future.

While Akanji continues to attracts interest, another Manchester City defender could also be on the way out.
Football Insider report that Everton are pushing to sign Nathan Ake before the window closes, with the club said to be stepping up efforts in the final days of the market.
