Ruben Amorim is set to utilise Manchester United’s pre-season friendly with Fiorentina on Saturday to help finalise his starting 11 ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Red Devils drew 2-2 with Everton last time out on Sunday, 3 August, with goals coming from Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount.
Despite being held to a draw by the Toffees, Man United won the Premier League Summer Series tournament in the USA, thanks to previous wins over West Ham and Bournemouth.
The Old Trafford side’s clash with Fiorentina on 9 August marks their final match before they take on Arsenal in the top flight on 17 August.

The summer additions of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have handed Amorim two new players who can operate behind the main striker in his double ‘number 10’ pivot.
Therefore, Fernandes can operate alongside Kobbie Mainoo in a deeper midfield role, which would see Manuel Ugarte dropped to the bench.
Elsewhere, Man United could also make defensive switches by handing Patrick Dorgu the left-wing-back spot over Diogo Dalot, whereas Amad Diallo can remain on the right.

Harry Maguire may also slot back into Amorim’s back three by replacing Leny Yoro.
Meanwhile, the news that Benjamin Sesko is set to join Amorim’s men has paved the way for Rasmus Hojlund’s Old Trafford exit.
However, Sesko may not sign in time for Saturday’s friendly, which would allow youngster Chido Obi-Martin to enjoy first-team minutes over Hojlund.

Man United Predicted XI
After landing a lowly Premier League finish last term as well as being beaten by Tottenham in the Europa League final, Man United must enjoy a significantly better season next campaign.

The North West giants have shown significant signs of improvement in pre-season, and did well to hammer a usually resolute Bournemouth side 4-1 in the USA last month.
However, last weekend’s draw with Everton took momentum away from Amorim’s side ahead of Saturday’s clash with Fiorentina.
To enter the new Premier League campaign full of confidence, Man United must defeat a Fiorentina outfit that finished sixth in the Italian top flight last season.
Furthermore, the Red Devils’ opening league fixture against Arsenal could prove extremely challenging, thanks to the Gunners’ successful summer transfer window.
Amorim’s men will need momentum behind them before vying to keep players like Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres at bay at Old Trafford on 17 August.
