Marc Guehi is reportedly planning to exit Crystal Palace on a free transfer next summer, following the collapse of his deadline day move to Liverpool.



The centre-back had anticipated joining Liverpool on Monday after Palace chairman Steve Parish accepted a £35million bid.



Despite the turmoil, the 25-year-old defender has been commended for his professionalism throughout the ordeal, maintaining his focus on football.

He played and scored in the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, which he thought would be his swansong for the club.

He intends to leave them empty-handed by departing as a free agent when his contract ends on July 1, 2026, rather than leaving in the January transfer window.
