Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has previously remained coy about his future amid reports that Liverpool are interested in the England international.
The Selhurst Park captain has faced speculation regarding his stay in South London after Newcastle United saw four bids rejected for the ex-Chelsea academy star.
According to The Times, Liverpool hold an interest in the 24-year-old as Three Lions Under-21 international Jarell Quansah attracts interest from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
It has been claimed that Die Werkself are ready to step up their pursuit of the Reds academy graduate when Florian Wirtz's blockbuster £116m switch to Anfield is completed.
It has been suggested that the Liverpool defender is considering his future after finding his game-time limited.

Quansah played a bit-part role in the Reds' Premier League title triumph, while he was behind Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate in the centre-back pecking order.
Last summer, Guehi was the subject of four bids from Newcastle - the last of which reportedly worth £65million - and all were rejected by Oliver Glasner's side.
BBC Sport reported on Thursday that the Reds' interest in Guehi could materialise this summer or even extend to the end of next season when he will will be available for free.

The 24-year-old is now into the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and it poses a difficult situation for the FA Cup winners.
Speaking before their win over Manchester City in May, Guehi played down any talk of this season being the final campaign that he plays for the South London club.
"I think the most important thing is just always doing the best that I can for this football club," he said.
"I come in every day and I try to be the same.
"I try to work hard.
"And you know, this football club has given me a lot.
"I'm still under contract at this football club, so my focus is always at this football club.
"So, you know, for me, the most important is just doing the best I can and seeing where the future holds."
Guehi made 34 appearances in the league for Palace last season, scoring three goals and recent reports suggest that Glasner is looking to add reinforcements to his defensive line in the form of Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande - potentially as a replacement for the captain.
