It has been revealed that Real Madrid are now ready to commence negotiations for the 25-year-old, who has been commended for his handling of the recent transfer speculation.

This puts the ball firmly in his court, with no transfer fee required next summer and foreign clubs able to sign a pre-contract agreement over Guehi from January.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

According to Mirror Sport, the Palace captain's top choice is to make a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and reject Liverpool, despite being tantalisingly close to joining them on September 1.

The report claims Guehi is thrilled by the prospect of playing overseas for the Spanish giants, who have also shown interest in Konate.

It's said that the French international recently declined Liverpool's offer of a new contract.

This suggests that the duo could team in La Liga, leaving Liverpool out in the cold.

Earlier this week, Arne Slot expressed his personal sympathy for Guehi.

The English international is set to lead Palace out against Liverpool next weekend.
