Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing the Palace centre-back for some time as they look to strengthen their defensive options.
It was just last week that Liverpool confirmed the signing of Giovanni Leoni from Parma in a deal worth an initial £26million.
Despite this deal going through, the Reds are still being linked with signing a new centre-ack before the transfer window closes.
Guehi has one year remaining on his contract with Palace and has been linked with Newcastle United in the past before Liverpool emerged as favourites to get a deal over the line.
It remains to be seen what will happen with Guehi's future in the weeks ahead, though.

Liverpool are continuing to hold talks with Palace over a deal to sign Guehi this summer.

With Guehi entering the final 12 months of his contract with the Eagles, there has been speculation about whether or not the defender will leave this summer for a fee or next year on a free transfer.
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish recently spoke about the prospect of Guehi leaving the club on a free transfer.
Parish hinted that Palace could be forced to sanction Guehi's exit this summer if a new contract is not agreed.
“Yes, of course, for players of that calibre to leave on a free, it is a problem for a football club,” said Parish earlier this month.
Joachim (Anderson) went (last summer to Fulham) and we couldn’t afford to lose both of them.
"We then had another bid in January but that was a difficult situation as well.
It needs a new contract or a conclusion of some kind."
Various reports have claimed to provide updates on Palace's potential asking price for Guehi this summer.

A report in The Guardian this month claimed that Palace are seeking around £40million for the England international.
It has also been suggested that Liverpool would be hopeful of completing a deal for around £35million, if an agreement can be reached with Palace.
