Marcel Sabitzer could be the next RB Leipzig star to leave the club this summer, with the Bundesliga outfit reportedly looking to offload the Tottenham target for a cut price fee.

Leipzig have already waved goodbye to two of their stars this summer, with Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konate leaving the club for Bayern Munich and Liverpool respectively.

According to The Athletic, captain Sabitzer may be another departure from Leipzig.

The 27-year-old has 12 months remaining on his existing contract with the Bundesliga side and his availability could alert a host of Premier League clubs, including Spurs.

The north Londoners were linked with Sabitzer last summer but were unwilling to meet his £43m release clause.

Sabitzer's contract situation could see his price reduced to just £15m, a cut-price fee given the Austrian's experience at Champions League level.

Jose Mourinho was interested in landing Sabitzer last summer but the Portuguese has since left the club while Daniel Levy has hired Fabio Paritici as sporting director, and the Italian may well have alternate targets.
