Marco Silva may be reaching the end of his tether during what has been a horrendous summer for Fulham.
The Whites have made one signing this summer, bringing a 34-year-old Benjamin Lecomte to West London to serve as a back-up for Bernd Leno.
This summer had promised so much for the Whites.
The club recorded their highest ever points total in the Premier League last season, and still had much of the money received from Aleksandar Mitrovic and Joao Palhinha’s sales to spend.

But with one week to go before their season opener against Brighton, things are looking worrying at Craven Cottage.
Ryan Sessegnon’s return to Fulham was one of the success stories of last year in West London.
After a slow integration into Silva’s set-up, the ex-Tottenham man was thrust into a starting role and he immediately found his form.

Sessegnon scored four and assisted two in 16 games, shaking off the fitness issues that had plagued him during his time in North London.

But against Eintracht Frankfurt in the last pre-season friendly of the summer, the versatile former England Under-21 international was taken off with a serious-looking injury, being replaced by academy centre-back Samuel Amissah.
If Sessegnon is out for an extended period of time, this could spell serious issues for the Whites, as Antonee Robinson is recovering from surgery, leaving Silva without a recognised left-back.
Jorge Cuenca or Timothy Castagne could fill in at that spot, but neither would be able to offer the attacking impetus that Fulham’s manager requires in that role.
This coincides with The Sun reporting that Silva is growing increasingly frustrated with the Whites’ impotence in the transfer market.

It is also reported that the prospect of Fulham’s boss renewing terms is “extremely slim now given his frustration.”
Compounding the issue is the fact that this season seemed like the Cottagers’ best chance to qualify for European football for the first time in well over a decade.
Brentford and Bournemouth have been stripped of their best players, and Brighton have lost Joao Pedro to Chelsea.

But the combination of Alistair Mackintosh and Tony Khan seem more focused on over-charging fans for their tickets or building swimming pools at Craven Cottage.
The grim management of the club threatens to ruin any chances of Fulham pushing to the next level, and the Whites’ best manager since Roy Hodgson is making clear that he will not hang around if things continue as they have been.
