Manchester United-mad Mark Goldbridge stated that he would rather see Manchester City win the Premier League title than Liverpool.

The YouTube personality, who is the host of The United Stand which is a show with 563,000 subscribers, was asked during a question and answer session which of Man United’s rivals he’d prefer to end up league champions and went with Man City as the rivalry with Liverpool is “proper.” “City because Liverpool is a proper rivalry,” said Goldbridge on his personal Twitter account.

Goldbridge may be wishing for Man City to pip the Reds to the post just like last season, but even he is properly preparing for the Premier League trophy to end up at Anfield this season.

Liverpool have so far won all of their league games, scoring an impressive 20 goals in the process, and when you consider Man United couldn’t beat a Newcastle side who have managed only five goals this season,  you wouldn’t bet against Klopp’s team getting all three points from the upcoming clash.

After all, not only do Jurgen Klopp’s side currently have a comfortable gap at the top of the table, Goldbridge predicted the Reds to win the league ahead of the season getting underway.

The Reds currently sit eight points clear of Pep Guardiola’s side in the race for the league title ahead of playing Manchester United in the first game back after the international break.

However, it is hard to read too much into Goldbridge’s prediction, when you consider he previously believed Man United would finish fourth.
