Ben Chilwell shared an emotional goodbye message to Chelsea supporters on social media, earning reactions from across the football world.

Chilwell spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, where he enjoyed success by lifting the FA Cup during his short stint in South London.

Despite holding talks, Palace didn’t decide to sign Chilwell on a permanent deal, with Tyrick Mitchell considered the preferred option for Oliver Glasner.

A move within the Premier League looked a possibility as Football Insider revealed Leeds had an interest in Chilwell, but no move materialised.

Instead, the English full-back completed a late move to Strasbourg on a permanent deal, and now, has sent a farewell message to the Chelsea faithful.

While the transfer window has shut across Europe’s top five leagues, the Saudi Pro League remains open, and Axel Disasi could be the next Chelsea player heading for the exit.

Football Insider revealed that Disasi could leave Chelsea in the next few weeks as the Blues are looking to sell players to Saudi clubs.

The club have raised around £287million through player sales so far this summer but are still looking for Disasi to find a new club, as he has no future under Enzo Maresca.
