Date published: Saturday 18th March 2023 10:05 - Mason Mount is now thought to be ‘very likely’ to leave Chelsea this summer after a new development which will have Liverpool and Manchester United rubbing their hands. Chelsea have offered Mount a new contract, but the England international reportedly wants pay parity with the club’s top earners, which the Blues hierarchy are unwilling to grant.
Manchester United have more recently joined the race, and Newcastle are also said to be keen.
The Daily Mail report that to take over from Mount’s dad Tony as the 24-year-old looks to seal a move this summer.
