Tottenham captain Cristian Romero dispatched a heartfelt message to supporters after Spurs claimed a statement victory over Manchester City.

Following the result, the Argentine defender shared a heartfelt message with the Tottenham faithful, reflecting the growing bond between the players and supporters under Frank’s leadership.
Romero shared a passionate message for the supporters after another win against Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola now having lost 10 times to Tottenham — the joint-most defeats he has suffered against a single club.

Romero was officially named Tottenham captain for the 2025/26 season earlier this month, underlining his importance to Thomas Frank’s plans despite speculation linking him with a move away.
Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid were both credited with interest, but Spurs moved swiftly to end uncertainty, announcing on 20 August that Romero had signed a new contract keeping him in north London until 2029.
