The Premier League have confirmed the match officials for Sunday’s Burnley vs Liverpool clash.

After the international break, the Reds return as reigning champions and current leaders of the Premier League, maintaining a perfect record with a 100% winning start to the season.

Their next challenge comes against newly promoted Burnley, who remain unbeaten at Turf Moor this campaign.

Burnley’s form has been inconsistent, with a home win over Sunderland but struggles on the road against Manchester United and Tottenham.

They’ll need a solid defence and hope to catch Liverpool off guard.

Liverpool are in excellent form, winning their last three games, including a hard-fought victory against Arsenal.

Their attack is sharp, and they’re expected to dominate possession and create plenty of chances.

Liverpool have dominated recent meetings with Burnley, winning all five of their last encounters and keeping four clean sheets, highlighting their superiority in this fixture.

On Monday, the top flight announced the officials appointed for all 10 fixtures in game week four.

Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Burnley this Sunday will be officiated by Michael Oliver.

Over his career, Oliver has been in charge of 64 Liverpool matches, most recently the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park in February.

Slot’s side had come back from an early concession to lead 2-1 heading into injury time.

Oliver had added seven minutes, but did not blow the final whistle before James Tarkowski’s 98th-minute volley leveled the score for Everton.

His assistants will be Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring, with Chris Kavanagh serving as the fourth official.

Paul Tierney will take charge of VAR duties, marking his first Liverpool match review since April’s Merseyside derby, when PGMOL acknowledged he missed a sending-off challenge by Tarkowski on Alexis Mac Allister.

Eddie Smart will assist Tierney in the VAR room.
