And Guardiola now admits there will be many who would rather Jurgen Klopp's side didn't win a record-equalling 20th championship.

Guardiola prompted heated debate when stating earlier this month "people want Liverpool to win more than us" as a titanic tussle for the championship approaches Sunday's climax.
City, a point clear at the top from the Reds, will win a fourth crown in five years with victory over Aston Villa, with Liverpool entertaining Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Guardiola added: "I'm not saying all the country (are Liverpool fans) but in general because they are a team with more history in terms of titles, it's normal.
