When you're a supporter of one of the world's biggest football teams, you are fed an endless stream of transfer stories linking countless players with moves to your club.
As such it’s difficult to know what the best scenarios might be for Liverpool in the next transfer window.
Liverpool sign Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe and they all live happily ever after.
Gini Wijnaldum looks likely to be leaving and that scenario would be a definite negative on the balance sheet for starters.
And in the case of Liverpool, some transfers occur before anyone has much idea about them whatsoever.
They range from the plausible to absurd, with everything in between.
But with the financial hit which the club has taken from a year of playing behind closed doors – and with the distinct possibility that they will not be in the Champions League next season – it’s hard to predict that there will be many big money moves at Liverpool this summer.
