Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Aberdeen attacking midfielder Fletcher Boyd, sources have told Football Insider.
The 17-year-old will undergo a medical at the Premier League club on Sunday as he puts the finishing touches to the move.
Villa have reached a full agreement with the player and the club following developments on Saturday.
The Midlands giants have been tracking the 17-year-old for some time and will now complete the deal before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Boyd joined the Aberdeen academy back in 2017 and has subsequently progressed through the ranks and into the senior side.
The midfielder made his full debut for the Scottish club back in May 2024, scoring within 10 minutes of coming on as a substitute against Hibernian.
On the international stage, Boyd has represented Scotland at Under 15 level, as well as making eight appearances and scoring two goals for the Under-16 side.

Villa now look set to land the teenage sensation, and will hope that he can capitalise on his obvious potential once he completes his move to the Midlands.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will have to pay a “huge transfer fee” to have any chance of signing Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Xavi Simons has already joined Spurs from RB Leipzig, but a second marquee signing could be agreed after Football Insider revealed that Thomas Frank wants both a number 10 and a winger.
Football Insider revealed on 25 August that Tottenham had opened preliminary talks to sign Rogers as the end of the window looms, but are keen to barter Aston Villa down from their £100million valuation.
However, Aston Villa will demand a “huge” fee to sell Rogers, who is seen as crucial to Unai Emery’s plans at Villa Park this term.
