The clock is ticking towards transfer deadline day – and some fans reckon it's the same for Russell Martin’s time as Rangers boss.

That’s why the work the Ibrox gaffer does in the final week before the window closes for business could be crucial.

Martin has a specific style to which he sticks rigidly and recruiting players to fit into it - as well as getting those already there to buy into it - is going to be key.

The Rangers boss has already recruited 10 new players since taking over in June but is still on the hunt for more.
