The weather in Liverpool today is expected to be "cloudy" which will turn to "light rain" by lunchtime.
The weather across the UK in recent weeks has been glorious, with some areas reaching temperatures of over 20C.
The Met Office warned of a "marked change" in conditions as we headed into the bank holiday weekend, and this week.
While the weather is currently dry and sunny in Liverpool, rain has been forecast for many hours of the day.
The weather agency forecasts rain will start at 12pm, with a 50% chance of it falling.
At 6pm and 7pm, there is a high risk of heavy rain, this is expected to become lighter at 9pm and stop until 11pm this evening.
It is expected to be a huge day for Liverpool as Liverpool FC's Premier League title parade kicks off at 2:30pm and is expected to last several hours.
Along the way, the players will visit Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand before the route finishes at Blundell Street.

Cunard ship Queen Anne will also arrive in Liverpool today to mark the cruise line's 185th anniversary.
They added the delay was due to weather conditions.

As the change in weather takes hold across the UK, Deputy Chief Meteorologist Mark Sidaway said: “The high pressure that has been around for the last few weeks will slowly lose its grip on the UK this week, bringing a change to more unsettled conditions with many areas seeing rain or showers, ending the prolonged dry spell."
The weather agency adds: "The bank holiday weekend sees a marked change in weather type.
