Pep Lijnders could be about to do something after leaving Liverpool that Michael Edwards would absolutely love.

It’s not just Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, but also a lot of his coaching staff.

He has written a book, and has worked his way up the ranks at Liverpool from starting out as an U16 coach to becoming Klopp’s right-hand man.

But along with Klopp, he too will be moving on from Liverpool.

One of the reasons why Lijnders will be moving on from Liverpool is because of his desire to become a first team manager.

Lijnders has been appointed as Red Bull Salzburg’s next manager with the Liverpool assistant signing a three year deal at the Austrian club.
