Liverpool-linked defender Micky van de Ven has previously revealed that it would be a dream to play at Anfield. The Wolfsburg centre-back has been touted for a move to Merseyside following the arrival of sporting director . The legendary German goalkeeper is currently in his first days at the helm at the AXA Training Centre and immediately it has brought speculation surrounding the 22-year-old defender who he signed from Volendam.
Following the murmurs surrounding the Holland youngster, old images emerged of Van de Ven at Anfield with his father from a few years back watching a match.
Speaking in January, 22-year-old Van de Ven described the Premier League as the best division in the world.
Van de Ven was called up to the Netherlands preliminary squad for their World Cup in Qatar in November.
