Everyone right now is talking about Rhian Brewster.

James Milner has explained that Brewster’s outgoing character and arrogance makes him different than he was at the same age – but said this is not a problem, providing he backs it up on the pitch – which so far he has.

“To come in here and score goals in pre-season is great and it has given him a lift but now it is the start of it.

The 19-year-old has scored four goals this pre-season in just 120 minutes of football – which is a pretty emphatic strike-rate.

Perhaps we’re getting ahead of ourselves, but we predict Brewster will hit double figures in all competitions in 2019/20.

“Rhian has probably is more outgoing and has got more confidence than I had,” Milner said, reported in the Echo.

In the absence of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, he’s stole the show and is likely winning the race with Divock Origi for a place in the side on season opening day.
