Milos Kerkez has admitted that he 'doesn't know' what will happen regarding his future in a major transfer hint amid interest from Liverpool.

The wait to get their hands on the silverware has been a long one following their win over Tottenham Hotspur at the end of April.

Since then, it has been a procession, but the focus has quickly shifted to next season and the impending transfer window with Liverpool entering negotiations to sign Leverkusen duo Wirtz and Frimpong.

The Reds are interested in Bournemouth defender Kerkez but are also keeping tabs on a number of potential options.

Kerkez has dropped hints throughout the campaign, often enjoying interactions with Liverpool star and compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai but following the conclusion of the campaign, and the transfer window opening in six days (June 1), the 21-year-old has flung open the exit door.

He wrote: "38 games, 38 started, we finished the job and broke the record, thanks to the fans and everyone for support.

Andy Robertson has come in for criticism this season after a spate of uncharacteristic mistakes, however in March he expressed his desire to fight for his place in a Liverpool shirt and was adamant his career at Anfield isn't over.

“I think we’ve been linked with pretty much every left-back in the world,” he said.

“That comes with playing with one of the greatest clubs in the world.

I look back on these eight years I’ve had here as the starting left-back at that club and I feel a lot of pride.

“Your time comes and I don’t think it’s my time yet, but even if we do bring someone in, then so be it.

I’ll always back myself.

“Sure, this season there have been a couple of moments when I haven’t covered myself in glory, but some things have been taken way out of proportion.

“I think the performance levels have been there for me.

I think I’ve had a relatively good season, but one thing people will say about me is that I’ve been pretty consistent, so when you make a couple of mistakes, then people can talk.

“That’s the world we live in, that’s the Premier League.

I’ve shown that right throughout my career, but especially during my time at Liverpool.”
