The expectation is that Milos Kerkez will report for pre-season training on 7 July after Liverpool reached a breakthrough with Bournemouth.
The Reds are now close to agreeing on a deal worth around £40million following weeks of negotiations.
Kerkez would, therefore, be in line to debut during this summer's first pre-season friendly against Preston North End on 13 July.
Then, a competitive debut could come against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.

After that, the Premier League season starts, with Liverpool involved in its first fixture.
The left-back could make his league debut for the Reds on opening night, but will hope his fortunes at Anfield change once it becomes home.

In both his appearances there for Bournemouth, they conceded three goals and lost.
Although the Cherries have not fared any better at home over recent seasons.
They lost their league matches 2-0 and 4-0 and were beaten in Boscombe at the League Cup fourth-round stage in Jurgen Klopp's final campaign as manager.
Of all the clubs Kerkez has played more than twice against during his career, Liverpool have the best record.
He has also lost on all three occasions up against Brighton & Hove Albion, albeit assisting Bournemouth's only goal when they were beat 2-1 in February - Kerkez has no career goal contributions against the Reds.
