However, the full-back also recognises that he has a lot to learn whilst taking great pride in representing his new club.Kerkez has started all four of Liverpool's Premier League fixtures since his £40m switch from Bournemouth.
However, the latest against Burnley ended after just 36 minutes as Arne Slot chose to remove the full-back from the danger of a suspension as he had been booked for simulation before committing a foul to prevent a counter-attack.
Andy Robertson entered in the Hungarian's place and was subsequently chosen over Kerkez to make his first start of the season in Wednesday's Champions League win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield.

In an interview with Hungarian channel Spiler TV before the events of the past week, Kerkez stated: "I think my biggest strength is energetic defence, my momentum, my tackles.
"I feel like I’ve settled in well, match after match I’m adapting better to the circumstances and my teammates.
