Milos Kerkez was arguably the best left-back in the Premier League in the season just gone, so transfer interest from Liverpool should be no surprise.

And the 21-year-old has responded to the rumors heading into the summer.

Liverpool already has Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas to play left-back but Kerkez would be an upgrade on the pair.

"At the same time, I think it's normal that if you play well and the team does well, then you get into the news and end up on the front page, and everyone talks about you.

"I see this as fuel that drives me forward.

If Kerkez were to make the move to Liverpool, he would link up with Dominik Szoboszlai, his international teammate.

The former RB Leipzig midfielder is the captain of his country and already has an established relationship with the left-back.
