Bournemouth has given the strongest hint yet that it is planning for life after Milos Kerkez, after announcing the arrival of a new left-back.

Adrien Truffert, 23, has signed a five-year deal with the Cherries after agreeing to join the South Coast club from Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.

Truffert is second left-back that Bournemouth has signed in 2025, after the January arrival of Julio Soler, 20, from Argentina club Lanus.

Bournemouth's acquisition of Truffert, who was the Rennes captain, is set to pave the way for Kerkez to join Liverpool.
