The Reds are never far away from some big news breaking and lately, it feels like there is a major update in their transfer plans almost every day.
Recently, Andy Robertson to Atletico Madrid is the story that is taking the headlines, at least while Florian Wirtz is on holiday that is as his transfer won’t be complete until after.
A left-back has been touted for a long time at Anfield, especially after Robertson’s sudden drop-off in form, with Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez being Liverpool’s top target from very early on.
As seen this summer so far, when the Reds want a player, they will very likely be getting them, and Kerkez is no different as his transfer edges closer.
The final details just need to be sorted out, but his brother may have just posted the clearest possible hint that suggests it is almost complete.

Sometimes social media can get players into trouble, whether that is themselves liking or posting something they perhaps shouldn’t, or even a family member doing the same.
Although it won’t get him into any trouble, Kerkez’s brother has clearly got involved and indicated his excitement over the move, showing that the deal is all but done.

Posting on his Instagram story, Marko Kerkez shared a post captioned: “Milos Kerkez, soon to be a new Liverpool player, has revealed which club he supports,” with the photo being the player on holiday.
Hints do not get much more obvious than this, suggesting that there are no worries on the Hungarian’s side that this deal could fall through.

Kerkez is said to be very keen on the move and now only wants Liverpool, a good sign as the club approach a vital week in their transfer strategy.
The 21-year-old has had a sensational season for Bournemouth and it is no wonder to see the Reds go all-in for him, with his style of play perfect for Arne Slot’s system.
Kerkez looks nailed on to become Liverpool’s first-choice left-back next season, but there are serious question marks around the future of their current two choices.
Andy Robertson is heading into his final year of his contract and has serious interest from Atletico, with the Scotsman reportedly keen on the move.
However, if Slot wants to keep him around, especially to help Kerkez settle in and learn from, the 31-year-old would likely oblige given the top professional he is.
Kostas Tsimikas is expected to depart, however, with a number of clubs in Europe and in the Premier League keeping close tabs on him.
If both leave, the Reds will likely be in the market again for a left-back unless they think academy star Owen Beck can step up, although finding a player good enough for the Premier League champions that is willing to play second fiddle might prove difficult.
