Liverpool star Mo Salah was reduced to tears after Liverpool's victory over Bournemouth as home fans paid tribute to Diogo Jota.
"I think it's going to be like that for Liverpool players, staff, fans throughout the season.
"It's just going to hit them at moments during games, at the end of games, after victories, after defeats.
It's incredibly sad, and obviously what we've just seen there from Mo Salah was really special."
Moments earlier, Salah had clinched victory for Liverpool with a stoppage-time goal.
However, victory wasn't always assured for the reigning Premier League champions.

Liverpool went in 1-0 up at the break, with Hugo Ekitike scoring on his Premier League debut, and Cody Gakpo doubled the lead early in the second half.
The goal was the Italian's first in the Premier League, and just the third he has scored for Liverpool since joining from Juventus.
