Mohamed Salah has wished Trent Alexander-Arnold "the best" when breaking his silence after the defender confirmed that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

"It's been a pleasure sharing a special friendship with you and playing alongside you," Salah wrote on X alongside pictures of them two playing together.

Despite just winning the Premier League with Liverpool, and vice-captaining his boyhood club, Alexander-Arnold was honest and shared that he needs to move on for his personal story.
