Mohamed Salah has added fuel to his touchline row with Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool’s leading scorer and manager clashed just moments before the former was set to be introduced during Saturday’s 2-2 draw at West Ham.

Salah came off the substitutes’ bench at the London Stadium but reacted angrily to Klopp’s attempt to speak to him as he prepared to enter the pitch.

Darwin Nunez had to intervene and pull the Egypt international away to defuse the row, which Klopp insisted was addressed in the dressing room.

He said: “We spoke about it in the dressing room and that is done for me.”

When asked if the 32-year-old had agreed to draw a line under the matter, the Liverpool manager added: “That was my impression.”

But Salah appeared to dispel that suggestion when leaving the stalemate, which pushed Liverpool further out of the Premier League title race reckoning.

When passing reporters in the mixed zone who requested an interview, he replied: “There’s gonna be a fire today if I speak.”
