Mohamed Salah finished fourth in the running for the Ballon d'Or award 2025 for the best men's player of the year, after helping Liverpool win the Premier League title.
The star was reportedly not in attendance for the ceremony in Paris, where Ousmane Dembele was crowned the winner.
Salah, who had been snubbed from last year's 30-man shortlist, scored 34 goals and 23 assists in all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign as Liverpool won the Premier League ahead of Arsenal.
Although this is officially the highest Salah has ever placed for this specific award in his 15-year career, he was beaten by Ousmane Dembele, Lamine Yamal, and Vintinha.
