For the second month running, Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool's Standard Chartered men's Player of the Month.

Salah's form appears to have scaled new heights this season and this was his second award of the day after earlier receiving recognition for winning the PFA Fans Player of the Month award for September.

September was another great month for Liverpool's Egyptian King.

After a brilliant September for the Egyptian he won the fan poll on the official Liverpool website to win the award and see off the challenge of Curtis Jones who finished runner up.

Salah collected the trophy on Thursday at the AXA Training Centre after scoring six goals in September in both the Premier League and Champions League.

[It's] the first time I scored against them in the Champions League.

Also, we were 2-1 down so it was an important goal to get us back in the game, so I can choose this one."
