Mohamed Salah scored on the opening day of the season as Liverpool started the year off with a win.
The Reds had a scare as they began their title defence, although they managed to get through it and pick up all three points.
Goals from Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and, of course, Salah helped Liverpool get the win, albeit a rather unconvincing one.
The Egyptian in particular might not have had the best game, but he managed to get himself on the scoresheet again as per usual, with his goal breaking yet another record, with this one equalling Sergio Aguero.

Salah has become synonymous with breaking records and despite smashing almost every one possible, he is still managing to find some rather unique ones to get his hands on.
And, as well as his goal sealing the win for the Reds, it also had a greater significance, with it meaning that he has now levelled a record set by Aguero.
His goal was his 105th at Anfield in the Premier League, the joint-second most at a single venue in the competition’s history as per BBC Sport.

Aguero was second on the list but is now joined by Salah, while Thierry Henry leads the way at the top of this rather unique list with 114, with these coming at Highbury.
With this being just the first game of the new season, it would be no surprise to see the 33-year-old break this record with ease, with just nine more home goals needed.
He may not have had the best of games but the fact he got on the scoresheet shows just how inevitable he is, although fans will hope he is a bit more prominent in games as the season goes on.
The best way to describe Salah is that he is inevitable.
Whether he was in the game or not, most people just knew he would score and that is exactly what he did.
It is also a well-known fact that he loves a goal on the opening day of the season, with the Egyptian extending his lead at the top of this list with 10 goals.
He also has the most goal involvements on the opening weekend, with this goal taking his tally to 15.
Liverpool fans will certainly be hoping that he is a little more prominent in games to come, but it certainly isn’t a bad start for their star player ahead of their title-defending season.
