Liverpool star Mohamed Salah won't be happy with some of the club's transfer business, it's been claimed(Image: Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images)Mohamed Salah will have been left "gutted" by two pieces of Liverpool's summer transfer business, ex-Red Dean Saunders has claimed.
However, ex-Reds striker Saunders believes the club's Egyptian talisman will be unhappy about Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure from Anfield after his controversial switch to Real Madrid and the club's decision to replace him with Jeremie Frimpong.
Saunders said this was due to Salah and the right-back's mutual understanding.
Frimpong signed from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5m at the end of May, and despite Saunders praising the Netherlands international's athleticism, he believes he lacks the passing precision of his predecessor.
Speaking on Liverpool legend John Aldridge's "Aldo Meets" podcast, he said: "They lost Trent, which is a blow.
He doesn't even look sometimes and Salah just knows [where the ball is going].

"Every left-back Salah plays against, they know what he does.
Somehow, he gets in behind him, because normally, Trent will just flip one over the top without looking.
"I know Frimpong is a good signing.
It means the 24-year-old was unable to meet up with the Netherlands squad, although he is expected to be available again after the international break.

Dominik Szoboszlai has been filling the gap at right-back in the meantime, and Jamie Carragher claims the Hungarian might have found his best position after struggling to impress as an attacking midfielder.
