Mohamed Salah showed his true colours on social media after his instrumental role in Liverpool's victory over Everton, which saw the Reds extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.



The Egyptian forward was pivotal in securing a positive result in the Merseyside derby, providing an assist for Ryan Gravenberch's opening goal, with Hugo Ekitike also finding the back of the net.

The result propelled Liverpool six points clear at the summit of the Premier League, a lead that was later reduced to five points following Arsenal's draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

Just over a day later, Salah shared two posts on social media as Liverpool gear up for their midweek Carabao Cup tie against Southampton.

In the first post on his Instagram story, Salah shared a video featuring Ibrahima Konate greeting him and several other Liverpool players.

His second post showed him working out alone in the gym at the AXA Training Centre.
