Mohaed Salah has been slammed for his post on social media just two hours after a car ploughed through Liverpool fans following the conclusion of their trophy parade.
The Egyptian posted a photo of himself kissing the Premier League trophy on the pitch at Anfield.
It was published at 8.24pm, while emergency services were still treating victims of the car incident in Liverpool city centre.
It is likely that the winger's social media team had already scheduled the post in advance, but he still came under fire from fans.

"It's not the right time, respect the painful incident," one Reds supporter said.
Put**s"
Another added: "This is why you should never relinquish control of your socials to a soulless media team.
They need to do damage control."
Some supporters leapt to the defence of their hero and pointed the blame at his PR team.
"Obviously Mo's PR team who should know a lot better - he would never do this," one person wrote.
Another added: "This is bad social media management.
Posting this just after the Liverpool parade incident… should have cancelled if it’s scheduled."
Liverpool FC released an official statement following the incident which read: "We are in direct contact with Merseyside Police regarding the incident on Water Street which happened towards the end of the trophy parade earlier this evening.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this serious incident.
"We will continue to offer our full support to the emergency services and local authorities who are dealing with this incident."
