Mohamed Salah has been told that that to join the upper echelons of Premier League legends, he needs to add more titles to his Liverpool trophy cabinet.
Petit, part of the triumphant 1998 French World Cup squad, believes Salah can further etch his name into the Liverpool annals over the following couple of years.

"Mohamed Salah is without doubt one of the best players in Premier League history," Petit extolled to William Hill Vegas.
But Salah will definitely be remembered as one of the greats.
"If he wants to be among the very best in Premier League history - right up there with the icons - he may need to win another major trophy with Liverpool.
I actually thought this season might be the one for Liverpool to win the Champions League.
He suggests that a lack of quality in the No.9 position was a stumbling block last month as it was knocked out of the Champions League by semi-finalists Paris Saint-Germain.
Petit further commented: "Liverpool has a strong squad with a lot of quality players, but if it wants to reach the very top again - especially in Europe - it needs to reinforce in key areas.
"Liverpool has signed quite a few strikers in recent years, but I still feel it is missing that one world-class striker who can guarantee 30 goals a season
