The fear of possibly missing out on winning a second Premier League title with Liverpool will be a big factor in Mo Salah’s future at the club, according to pundit Stephen Warnock.
The Egyptian is heading into the final year of his contract at Anfield, and reports over his future intensified after a touchline spat with manager Jurgen Klopp during the 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.
The club have no desire to cash in on the player this summer despite his contract situation.

A change of manager does bring a level of uncertainty around the new campaign but it’s the unknown that could lead to Salah staying at the club, according to Warnock.
“It’s an interesting time for Salah," he told NewBettingSites.uk.
“What we heard [this week] from David Ornstein was that Liverpool feel Salah wants to stay for another year, or extend his contract.
“I thought if he left it would be at the end of his current contract – no earlier.
Warnock has outlined what he expects from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
“It’s not just Salah who’ll be thinking that either,” he added.
