Alexis Mac Allister has confessed nobody at Liverpool comes close to challenging Mohamed Salah's commitment levels.

His strike against the Cherries made him the first player in Premier League history to net 10 opening-day goals.

It was also his 187th goal in the division, which saw him move level with Manchester United legend Andy Cole.

If anyone wasn't shocked by Salah's goal, it was Mac Allister.

The Argentine recently shed light on the relentless effort Salah puts in away from the spotlight to guarantee he's primed to find the net for Liverpool.

During the previous campaign, Salah registered 34 goals and 23 assists across all tournaments, driving Arne Slot's Premier League triumph.

His strike against Bournemouth also meant he is just 21 strikes behind Wayne Rooney's record of 208.
